Support Our mission

As part of our mission to provide equitable access to project based learning materials, we have made select materials available for free. If you have made use of these resources, we ask that you make a donation so we can continue to provide these materials for teachers, parents, and caregivers who cannot pay. Thank you for supporting our mission.

CREA is acutely aware that COVID-19 disproportionately impacts marginalized communities. As an education nonprofit, we are particularly concerned about the worsening of educational inequities in our country. In an effort to close the opportunity gap that COVID-19 is widening, we ask that you support students in need in one of the below ways. We have listed suggested donation, but please know that ANY contribution meaningfully supports our mission.

1. Support Our Free Teacher Resource Initiative: $10- $100

As part of our mission to provide equitable access to high-quality project based learning materials, we have made our educational materials available by donation. If you have the resources, we ask that you make the suggested donation and consider making an additional donation to cover the cost of materials for teachers, parents, and caregivers who cannot pay. Thank you for supporting our mission. And, please remember any and all donations help!

2. Buy Access to the CREA Curriculum for a Teacher: $75

This donation will cover the cost of the CREA Curriculum for 1 teacher serving high-risk student populations. Curriculum access provides a teacher with full access to all the instructional materials required to run CREA’s semester-long program, including 25 lesson plans, 25 interactive presentations, and over 30 student activities.

3. Sponsor a Teacher Training: $300

This donation will cover professional development for teachers at a public school campus that serves high-risk student populations. CREA professional development equips teachers with the tools and skills to guide students in designing and executing a creative project that is meaningful to them. Through an immersive experience, teachers experience the CREA project-based learning framework so they can effectively implement it in their classrooms. In providing this training to teachers, we hope to support teachers in order to prevent academic regression and create a sense of purpose and belonging during this very challenging time.
