Support Our mission

As part of our mission to provide equitable access to project based learning materials, we have made select materials available for free. If you have the resources, we ask that you make a donation so we can continue to provide these materials for teachers, parents, and caregivers who cannot pay. Thank you for supporting our mission.

COVID RESPONSE: SPONSOR A STUDENT, FAMILY, OR TEACHER IN NEED:

CREA is acutely aware that COVID-19 disproportionately impacts marginalized communities. As an education nonprofit, we are particularly concerned about the worsening of educational inequities in our country. In an effort to close the opportunity gap that COVID-19 is widening, we ask that you support students in need in one of the below ways. We have listed suggested donation, but please know that ANY contribution meaningfully supports our mission.

1. Sponsor 1-on-1 creative advising for a student in need: $100

This donation will provide one student with 8 creative advising sessions, supporting them in designing and executing a creative project that is meaningful to them. In the program, young people master the creative process, develop essential mindsets like resourcefulness and adaptability, and ask big question like: who am I? what do I love? What am I good at? What impact do I want to make on the world around me? In providing this program to students in need, we hope to prevent academic regression and create a sense of purpose and belonging during this very challenging time.

2. Sponsor a creative advising pod: $1,200 – 2,000

As part of our mission to provide equitable access to high-quality project based learning materials, we have made our educational materials available by donation. If you have the resources, we ask that you make the suggested donation and consider making an additional donation to cover the cost of materials for teachers, parents, and caregivers who cannot pay. Thank you for supporting our mission. And, please remember any and all donations help!

3. Sponsor the CREA curriculum & professional development package for teachers & out-of-school-time providers: $2,500

This donation will cover 10 curriculum licenses and two days of professional development for 10 teachers serving high-risk student populations. A curriculum license provides teachers with full access to all the instructional materials required to run CREA’s semester-long program. The curriculum includes lesson plans, presentations, student activity materials, and video content. In addition to the curriculum, this donation also covers two days of training on how to implement CREA’s project-based-learning framework & effectively use the curriculum materials.
